A 20-minute preview of an anticipated game
On Wednesday, Sony will broadcast a State of Play presentation dedicated to The Last of Us Part 2 ahead of its June 19 release date. The 20-minute episode will go live on YouTube and Twitch at 4 p.m. EDT, and you can watch it right here.
Sony said Naughty Dog vice president and The Last of Us Part 2 director Neil Druckmann will “give a special preview” of the game. Druckmann will reportedly go over “details of the gameplay experience and story.” The last eight-minutes of the broadcast is expected to be “an extended sequence” of never-before-seen gameplay footage.
Which edition of The Last of Us Part 2 should you buy?
Naughty Dog’s last trailer was released in early May; it focused on Ellie’s revenge plan and showcased a grim, violent world. Ahead of that, however, clips of The Last of Us Part 2 leaked online — allegedly showing much of the game. Naughty Dog said it has identified the leaker, reportedly hackers that gained access to the game through a security vulnerability in other Naughty Dog games.
The Last of Us Part 2 was originally slated for release in late May. Naughty Dog’s game, alongside Sucker Punch’s Ghost of Tsushima, were both delayed due to the ongoing novel coronavirus pandemic.
The PlayStation 4 Slim now has a standard 1 TB of storage.
